I don’t exactly know who had more fun; the kids or the adults in the room. After almost 2 years of remote learning, nervousness, and seclusion, the Cali Center opened its doors to kids in costumes and makeup who arrived to enjoy music, fun, food, and friends. Frisbees flying, ropes turning, and kids chatting away, brought joy to our hearts. Then came the candy scavenger hunt in the midst of fog machines and holograms creating the spooky house effect. We worried that kids wouldn’t show, if we had enough candy, and if it would turn out great. With the sounds of excitement, laughter, and adults helping and dancing, I would say our worries were put to rest. Until the next event Cali Center!
