I‘m Ms. Lisa
I am a mother of four and the Founder and Director of Cali Center, Inc. Since 1997 I have been creating programs that meet the needs of parents that are looking for rewarding, nurturing, and impactful programs for their children. As a parent and educator for over two decades, I know the importance of finding activities that keep children engaged. Children deserve the best that life has to offer and at Cali Center, they are our top priority. Whether in person or virtual, my hope is that children entrusted to my care have an experience that they will talk about for a lifetime!

Mission Statement
Cali Center provides children with a learning environment that is rewarding, engaging, and memorable. Cali Center is dedicated to supplying children with the tools necessary for academic success and social development.
We pride ourselves on establishing a well-rounded curriculum that offers an opportunity for all learners to exercise their creative abilities through cooperative work and play. We encourage children to thrive in an atmosphere that exudes a sense of community for all. We serve to positively reinforce children who are trying to be the best versions of themselves.
We encourage our staff to develop a relationship with each child that is both nurturing and supportive. We hope our staff also reap the benefits of making a difference in a child’s life.
Cali Center, Inc. is an extension of our summer day camp (Camp Cali), formerly known as Kamp Kali; which was established in 2003. Throughout the school year, we offer services to children in need of academic enrichment. Camp Cali offers a curriculum that is well-aligned with the NY Next Generation Standards.
Our curriculum is developed to improve students’ skills in reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar, writing, mathematics, and acquiring the skills necessary to actively engage in student discourse. Elementary and Middle School students also receive tutorial services for NYS ELA and Math tests. High School students receive tutorial services for regents tests in Science, Global History, United States History, and English.
Our dedicated and qualified staff have years of experience teaching students with learning differences and following Individualized Education Plans (IEP’s). We understand that our young people need to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for success in college and careers.
During the summer months, in efforts to offer a well-rounded curriculum, students have the opportunity to engage in various extra-curricular activities that research shows are beneficial to a child’s development.
